Four passengers lost their lives in a horrific accident when a passenger van collided with a truck amid dense fog in the Choonawala area in tehsil Hasilpur of district Bahawalpur. Another seven people sustained injuries and were later admitted to THQ Hasilpur. Rescue 1122 said the incident occurred due to dense fog. In a separate incident, two people sustained injuries in a fog-related accident in Khairpur Tamewali. In another accident, a Lahore-Bahawalpur passenger bus collided with a truck near Rana Wahin in Kahror Pacca. In Muridke, two vehicles collided with each other on Narowal Road on the Sialkot Motorway, as a result of which three women and a man sustained injuries.
