KARACHI: At least five members of the same family were killed, while three others were injured after a boulder crashed into a house in Gulshan Ghazi area of Karachi.
Zameer’s family was sleeping in their house at night when a boulder fell on their house located in Gulshan Ghazi area of Karachi on Thursday, leaving three persons dead on spot, while five others injured.
The residents of the area reached the house and pulled-out the trapped and injured bodies under the debris and shifted them to Civil Hospital for medico-legal formalities and treatment.
Two persons succumbed to injuries on arrival at the hospital, hence the death toll reached five and all the victims were members of same family. The deceased were identified as Zameer, Iqra and Abdullah who died on the spot. The injured included Yasira, seven, Mustakan, 10 and Roma, 13.
