Large swathes of the country witnessed on Tuesday the worst power outages during the intensified cold weather.
The power shortfall had exceeded 6,000 MW. The masses have to bear the brunt of the intensified cold as parts of the country have been witnessing the power outage for more than 16 hours. The people of Faisalabad had to suffer from the load shedding for up to eight hours.
The worst load shedding had compelled the factory owners to close one shift. The business community was facing severe hardship due to the excessive power outage. The masses were also facing severe difficulties in Gujranwala as the city was witnessing a power outage for up to six hours. The rural areas had also witnessed the load shedding for up to 10 hours.
The load shedding had not only sabotaged the everyday lives of the people, but the tailors were also facing the brunt of the power outage as their businesses is facing woes.
