LAHORE: Aaghaz-e-Dosti has appealed to the authorities to recover the disappeared human rights activist Raza Mehmood Khan, who went missing on December 2.
Raza Khan was last seen at the end of a talk he organised on the issue of terrorism at Lowkey Lokai earlier this month. since then, there has been no trace of him even as the investigation is ongoing.
Aghaz-e-Dosti, in a statement, showed concerns over the missing of Raza khan saying “Aaghaz-e-Dosti is concerned about the whereabouts of Raza.”
“Aaghaz-e-Dosti acknowledges the Raza Khan’s valuable efforts to work for peace and education,” said the statement adding Raza joined the organisation in 2015 when he was already involved in activism at a local level in Pakistan.
It hoped that Raza would be recovered soon, adding “Aaghaz-e-Dosti” have complete faith in the working of the state agencies.
It also thanked the people, supporting to find Raza Khan.
Aaghaz-e-Dosti is a joint initiative of two youth-led organisations, Mission Bhartiyam(India) and Hum Sab Aik Hain (Pakistan), and is working for almost five years to highlight the role that people or civilians can play in improving relations between both countries.
